Description

Handdrawn Pen and Ink illustration of the Kabali Temple Gopuram (Gate),  Chennai, Tamil Nadu

The temple is said to have been built by the Pallava Rulers in the 7th Century CE. Typical of the dravidian style of temple building, the gopuram has extensive sculptures and the tower stands at an incredible 120 ft in the center of the city. The figures are made using stucco and are a striking feature especially for its variance in each step of the tower.

This temple continues to be one of the most famous tourist spots in Chennai!

Note – The watermark is precautionary to avoid illegal downloads. It will not be featured in the artwork that is sold.
